Over The Hill organises courses in adventure activities for the over 40s in the Yorkshire Dales. We cater for individual clients, couples or small groups and our packages offer personal tuition which is suited to your level of ability and fitness. You will have expert tuition by an experienced tutor of your own age and you can learn the skills in easy stages at your own pace and progress as you develop confidence in your own ability.
All the courses are run by Dave Renshaw who is a retired teacher and Holly the Collie who is the assistant leader. Dave has 40 years experience of fell walking and rock climbing in the Peak District, the Lake District, Scotland, North Wales and the Yorkshire Dales.
He has 30 years experience of winter walking , including instructing groups in snow and ice climbing in the Lake District and Scotland.
He has 25 years experience of caving and he is a member of the Cave Rescue Organisation which deals with cave, fell and animal rescues in the Yorkshire Dales.
